Verify a sealed hour
Your browser recomputes every hash of the hour and its link to the hour before, when you include that hour. No file you check leaves your browser.
What this verifies: the hour's manifest, every file's size and hash against it, and the link from the hour to the hour before.
What it does not verify: the contents of each file (the raw file, the tables and the clock bounds), which Nox's full verifier checks; and whether this chain is the one Nox FZE sealed, which you confirm by matching an hour's root to a root you received earlier.
This root shows only that the hour is unchanged since Nox FZE sealed it, and which messages Nox FZE received from the venue's public interfaces and when. It gives no opinion on the venue or on its markets, volume, statements, controls or systems.
