Invoicing
How do I create a new invoice?
Tap '+' or 'New Invoice' on the Dashboard. Enter the client's name, amount, and fiat currency. Satoshi Ledger converts to Bitcoin at the current rate and generates a payment QR code.
Can I edit or cancel an invoice?
Yes. Edit or cancel from the Dashboard or Invoices tab at any time before the invoice is paid. Note that blockchain transactions themselves are irreversible.
How do I share an invoice?
Tap Share after creating an invoice. You can send via Messages, Email, WhatsApp, AirDrop, or copy the Bitcoin payment URI.
Client Management
How do I add and manage clients?
Add a client while creating an invoice or in the Clients section. Data is stored locally and reusable across invoices.
Bitcoin Payments
How do I track incoming Bitcoin payments?
Open the Transactions tab. The app monitors the blockchain for incoming payments and shows status and confirmations.
What if a client sends the wrong amount?
The app records the exact received amount. Refunds or corrections must be handled directly — Bitcoin transactions cannot be reversed.
Exchange Rates
How accurate are exchange rates?
Rates are fetched from public market data APIs at invoice creation. They're indicative and may differ from the rate at the moment of payment.
Reports and Export
How do I export reports for tax purposes?
Go to Reports, select a period, and tap Export. Reports include income, transactions, and unrealized P&L. Check your jurisdiction's requirements.

Data, Backup, and Privacy
How do I back up my data?
All data is stored locally. Enable iCloud Backup or back up via Finder/iTunes regularly. Deleting the app permanently removes all data.
Does Satoshi Ledger collect my personal data?
No. Privacy-first: all data stays on-device. No accounts, no cloud sync, no analytics. Only anonymous rate lookups and public blockchain queries.

What devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad running iOS 17 or later. Built with SwiftUI; Dark Mode and Dynamic Type fully supported.
Does the app work offline?
Mostly. View existing data offline. Creating new invoices and checking live blockchain status require a connection.
