Coin Lens is designed to be simple. Here's how to get up and running.
Add an address
Tap the + button and paste any public bitcoin address — from your hardware wallet, exchange, or cold storage. Coin Lens never asks for private keys.
Log your cost basis
Open the buy log and enter the date, amount, and price per BTC for each purchase. Coin Lens calculates your unrealised P/L in real time.
Add a widget
Long-press your home screen, tap + and search for Coin Lens. Pick a widget size to see your balance and P/L without opening the app.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Coin Lens need my private keys or seed phrase?
No. Coin Lens is read-only. It only ever reads your public bitcoin address. It cannot send or receive bitcoin and never needs your private keys or seed phrase.
Where does the price data come from?
Bitcoin price data is fetched from the CoinGecko public API. On-chain data (balances, transactions) comes from mempool.space.
Is iCloud sync automatic?
No — iCloud sync is optional and off by default. You can enable it in Settings. When on, your data syncs across your Apple devices through your own private iCloud database. Nox FZE never sees this data.
What is the Learn course?
Coin Lens includes a built-in 10-lesson bitcoin education course covering UTXOs, the mempool, transaction fees, confirmations, cold storage, and more — at a pace you choose.
Can I watch multiple addresses?
Yes. Add as many public addresses as you like — hardware wallet, exchange cold address, savings wallet, whatever you want to track. The Stack dashboard shows totals across all watched addresses.
Does Coin Lens work offline?
The app displays your last-fetched data when offline. Live balance, price, and transaction updates require an internet connection.
