Coin Lens does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. This policy explains what little information the app touches and why.

What stays on your device

All data you enter into Coin Lens — watched addresses, buy log entries, alert thresholds, and app settings — is stored exclusively on your device using iOS Core Data.

  • Watched bitcoin addresses (public addresses only — never private keys or seed phrases)
  • Cost-basis buy log (date, amount, price per coin)
  • Alert configurations (price and balance thresholds)
  • Display preferences and currency selection

iCloud Sync (optional)

iCloud sync is optional and off by default. When enabled, your data syncs through your own private iCloud database — governed entirely by your Apple ID and Apple's privacy policy.

Nox FZE has no access to your iCloud data at any time.

Network requests

Coin Lens makes two types of outbound requests to display live data:

mempool.space

Address balances, UTXO sets, transaction history, and mempool status are fetched from the public mempool.space API. Requests include only the bitcoin address you are looking up — no account identifier, IP address, or personal data is attached by the app.

CoinGecko

Bitcoin price data in your selected fiat currency is fetched from the CoinGecko public API. These requests contain no identifying information.

What we never collect

  • Private keys, seed phrases, or any wallet credentials
  • Your name, email address, or any account registration
  • Device identifiers or advertising IDs
  • Usage analytics, crash reporters, or third-party SDKs
  • Location data

Children's Privacy

Coin Lens is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
